A New Generation of Acne
Teenagers don't always have an easy time talking about acne with their parents.
And yet a recent survey from the American Counseling Association (ACA) shows that the vast majority of parents would like to do more to help their teenagers treat acne.
Nearly half of parents said they would help their teen get a prescription acne treatment if necessary.
Since you are reading this page you are most likely a parent who would like to help your teen get control of their acne and achieve clear, healthy skin.
Open a Dialogue
If you, yourself had acne, (and acne can be genetic) you might be remembering how self-conscious you felt when a pimple blossomed just in time for school pictures or just before a date.
Share your experiences with your teen. Open the dialogue and let them know that you are willing to help them find effective acne treatments. If their acne is persistent or severe you might offer to make an appointment with a dermatologist.
Learn the Ropes
Understanding the causes of acne, becoming familiar with good skin care techniques and learning about the newer treatment options will guide you in helping your teen.
You may have some catching up to do. A whole new generation of acne products is now available and you'll find many effective acne medications on the market.
Once daily EVOCLIN is a safe and effective medication for the treatment of acne. Learn more about EVOCLIN and how it works in our About EVOCLIN section.
