  • How much propylene glycol is in EVOCLIN?
  • EVOCLIN contains 2% propylene glycol.

  • Is the EVOCLIN Foam vehicle different than other Connetics foam vehicle products?

  • All three Connetics products possess the advantages of the patient-preferred VersaFoam® vehicle. The advantages of the VersaFoam brand vehicle are it leaves minimal residue, it is nonstaining and nonbleaching and it is not greasy. It also does not drip and it is fragrance free. All products delivered in the VersaFoam vehicle melt with body heat. EVOCLIN begins to melt at 95°F while other Connetics foam products melt at 90°F. The slightly higher melting temperature allows patients more time to apply EVOCLIN to large body surface areas affected by acne.

  • What are the most common adverse events?
  • The most common adverse events are headache(3%)and application-site reactions including burning(6%),itching(1%),and dryness(1%). 2

  • What trade sizes are available?
  • EVOCLIN is available in 50g and 100g cans.

  • What is the dosing of EVOCLIN?
  • EVOCLIN should be applied once daily to the skin where acne lesions appear, and enough should be used to sufficiently cover the entire affected area(s).

  • Can my patients apply EVOCLIN in the morning or evening?
  • Yes. EVOCLIN is a once-a-day medication and can be applied when it is convenient for the patient, either in the morning or evening.

  • On what areas of the body can I use EVOCLIN?
  • EVOCLIN is for topical use only. Not for ophthalmic, oral, or intravaginal use. EVOCLIN should be used as directed by your doctor. The advantages of the VersaFoam vehicle in EVOCLIN makes it easy to apply and spread to multiple body surface areas, and especially on large areas. EVOCLIN can be used on the face and is also appropriate on hair-bearing or non-hair bearing areas of the body. The versatility of EVOCLIN makes it suitable for all skin types and multiple body surface areas.

  • Will EVOCLIN bleach/stain clothing or linens?
  • No. EVOCLIN contains no bleaching agents so it won't bleach/stain clothing or linens.

  • Will EVOCLIN leave a residue or feel greasy?
  • No. VersaFoam is preferred by patients because it doesn't feel greasy, leaves minimal residue and has the versatility to be spread on multiple body areas such as the chest, back and shoulders. Patients can apply EVOCLIN and go about their daily routine.
